Davies and Blackburn to add commercial expertise in Cargill’s U.S. premix and nutrition business
(BROOKVILLE, OH) March 5, 2018 – Cargill is pleased to announce the additions of Terry Davies and Blaine Blackburn to their U.S. premix and nutrition commercial leadership team. Davies joins the Provimi poultry team as commercial director, while Blackburn will join the Provimi dairy team as national dairy sales leader on April 1, 2018.
Davies and Blackburn both come with proven success in developing highly engaged teams to evolve, transform and innovate in a constantly changing industry.
As commercial director, Davies leverages his global poultry and leadership experience to support poultry customers within Cargill’s premix and nutrition business. He will oversee the delivery on customer objectives and continuous building of the poultry product and service portfolio.

As national dairy sales leader, Blackburn will focus on the development of Provimi’s dairy sales team, as well as the engagement, distribution, alignment and execution of strategy, while leading overall sales efforts throughout the U.S.

Prior to joining Cargill, Davies held roles within British United Turkeys of America (BUTA), Nicholas Turkey Breeding Farms, and Elanco’s poultry business unit. Blackburn has been with Cargill for over 20 years before coming to the premix and nutrition business. His previous roles included leading feed and nutrition businesses within the U.S., Malaysia, and Poland.
