In his role, Mark is responsible for developing and implementing strategy and driving growth for the swine business. Mark is passionate about people development and the development of high-performance teams and provides leadership for our swine account management team.
Mark grew up on a diversified farm in Southeast, Iowa where his family raised beef, pork, corn, soybeans, and wheat. He and his wife, Leslie have three children; their son Lauren is a freshman at Iowa State University, daughter Grace is an eighth grader at Central Lee Community Schools, and son Ben is a very busy four-year-old that helps his Mom on the farm.

Chad works with our Swine Team to develop customer specific feeding programs to optimize nutritional value and financial return. He also invests time with customers in troubleshooting nutrition and management issues. Chad is passionate about advancing our understanding of ingredients and works closely with the Global Team on Cargill Nutrition System enhancements.
Chad enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and daughters, Abby and Emily. Chad loves grilling (especially pork!) and is an avid fan of University of Illinois sports teams and Chicago Cubs baseball.

As a Swine Nutritionist, Erin works with pork producers to understand their production systems and capabilities and identify areas that will help producers advance and excel in producing safe, nutritious, and affordable lean pork for human consumption around the world. As part of the Technical Team, she supports development of new technologies and offerings based on needs of pork producers. With such a dynamic industry and the continued advances in understanding ingredients, pig requirements, and pork production, Erin sees many opportunities in food production. She enjoys all facets of pork production and applies a whole-system approach to refining management practices to help producers implement new technologies that are practical and cost-effective.
Erin enjoys new adventures by traveling near and far with, and to visit, family and friends. She is involved in her church and is an avid baker. Erin enjoys watching and playing sports and the challenge of running half marathons and triathlons.

About James C.
J.C. is part of the Swine Technical Services Nutritionists Group. Since joining Provimi, he has increased his work with Account Teams in supporting several customers across the country. He not only provides nutritional recommendations, JC visits customer’s farms to walk-through and make specific recommendations on management practices.
J.C. enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, Madison, Garrett, and Elliott. His children are active year round in dance, football, and basketball. Supporting their activities keeps him very busy. J.C. also loves watching Buckeye football and basketball, and in his spare time enjoys working outside in the yard and garden.

Jim is actively involved in day-to-day nutrition work for several accounts. Kathryn is a trusted expert on the Swine Nutrition and Technical Team. She appreciates working with many accounts across the globe. In addition to her responsibilities with the Swine Technical Team, she manages Provimi US Swine Products. Kathryn enjoys leading successful product launches and applications that provide individualized benefits for swine customers. To ensure innovative product strategy, she works cross-functionally with purchasing, formulation, pricing, and manufacturing.
Kathryn and her husband are new parents and are excitedly navigating their way through the parenthood journey. She enjoys spending time with her husband and animals. In her spare time, Kathryn also enjoys volunteering in the Dayton area as a Pet Therapy team with her Golden Retriever, Belle.

Ken also finds great enjoyment in mentoring nutritional assistants and sales force about swine nutrition and how their role is critical to the success of our customers.
Ken enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He actively coaches his children’s soccer teams throughout the year. When not coaching soccer, he is watching his favorite English Premier League team, Chelsea, play on TV. To wind down, Ken enjoys landscaping his yard and volunteering his time to help out at his wife and kid’s school.

Lindsay enjoys spending quality time with her husband John and daughter Peyton. She is actively involved in coaching her daughter’s soccer team and cheering her on at her dance recitals. She also enjoys horseback riding, traveling, any outdoor activity, and watching college football (GO BUCKS!).

Tricia works along with the nutritionists and accounts managers to support customer diet formulation, ingredient pricing, and working to meet each customer’s expectations. Diet formulation and ingredient pricing includes evaluating various ingredient savings, cost-optimized diets, and using lab information to update ingredient values.
Tricia lives in Vandalia, Ohio with her two cats Lucy and Ethel. Tricia enjoys going to concerts and getting outside to hike, bike, and do the occasional kayaking trip. She also enjoys spending time to volunteer and help others.

Allan manages research of grow-finishing pigs on Provimi Research Farms, including trial design and management, data collection and analysis, as well as summarizing study reports. He collaborates with a variety of groups in the company to perceive market trend, optimize research topic priority, and present trial results. As a member of the research team, Allan also works with other teams in the company on Research and Development projects for products and services.
Allan comes from Beijing, China and currently lives in the Dayton, Ohio area, with his wife Anne and son Conan. Allan is a big NBA fan and his hobbies also include traveling, swimming, and reading detective novels.

Sara facilitates the trials conducted at our research facilities. Before and throughout the trials, she updates farm protocols, maintains the feed deliveries, and provides the plant with manufacturing instructions and lab analysis requests. Once trials are complete, she inputs and verifies the performance data, perform statistical analysis, and summarizes the data into tables and Power Point presentations. Sara also works with the nutritionists to discuss future project focus, new supplier data, and deliver customer facing presentations, such as the Provimi Research Review. She continually strives to deliver additional research information to the technical team to assist with our customers’ inquiries.
Sara enjoys taking her beagle to the dog park or hiking trails when the weather is nice. In the fall, she stays busy watching her favorite teams, the Oakland Raiders and Kansas State Wildcats, play football. Any given opportunity, she enjoys traveling to new places with family and friends.

Research and Development Manager
As a Swine Research Manager, Sabrina is responsible for coordinating and leading the swine research trials conducted at the North America Technology Application Center. In her role, she prioritizes topics, manages trial objectives, determines the best experimental designs, interprets data, and communicates results to the technical team, industry colleagues, and customers. Sabrina is also engaged with the Additives Team in the development of new additives. As a Product Development Manager, Sabrina works in conjunction with the Swine Product Manager to update Provimi U.S. swine products based on recent research findings to ensure that we are offering the best nutritional solutions to our customers. In addition, Sabrina also works closely with the global team to exchange research information, processes, and how to better align research priorities that can be advantageous to our business on a global level.
Sabrina enjoys spending time with her two children, Lexie and Ryan. Attending her children’s activities including soccer, showing dogs in 4-H, and Girl Scouts keep her busy. Born and raised in Brazil, Sabrina is a huge soccer fan. Other interests include outside activities with her children and traveling to learn about new cultures.

Sharon is a champion of the customer and is always seeking new ways to identify new nutritional truths to improve performance and economic outcomes. She enjoys developing strategies and evidence-based research programs designed to translate data relevant and successful products and programs. Her area of responsibility and expertise is the placement and management of external research programs with large swine producers in the United States.
Sharon is an avid singer and is a member of five vocal ensembles in the Dayton, OH area. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center in New York. When she is not singing, you can find her enjoying a round of golf at her local club, gardening or creating a new recipe.

David works with a handful of dairy accounts with some swine interest in east-central Ohio. He is responsible for additional accounts throughout the state. David provides support, sales expertise and information to his customers. His goal is to develop deeper relationships with his present customer base, and to grow new business from within the area. He does ration work for most species and also works closely with the Provimi Technical Teams.

Family, church, and hobby-farming are David’s interests. He enjoys spending time with his five grown children and 12 grandchildren. He is an Elder at his church and very active with its activities. David also works on his 200-acre farm and recently finished a feedlot barn for 150-200 head of cattle. He also takes time to follow the Buckeyes and Indians.

Dennis is responsible for developing and servicing the upper Midwest market for Provimi. His primary focus is working with customers in the dairy space and coordinating services with the Internal and Field Tech Support Teams to meet customer needs. Whether it’s collaborating on strategic business plans or just grabbing lunch together, Kyle values his personal and professional relationships with customers.

Mike covers Michigan, Northern Indiana and Southwest Ontario, working with all species. Mike is proud of the fact that Provimi has been doing business in this market area for over 40 years and has customers that have been working with our company almost as long. Besides buying customers lunches and donuts, Mike works as a conduit between customers and our nutrition staff, as well as all other departments at Provimi.
Mike cuts wood, makes things from wood, burns wood and smokes meat with wood. Mike’s wife tells him he has too many chain saws and smokers. He plays harmonica on weekends at jam sessions and gigs with musical friends. Mike is learning the banjo, but reports not being patient with it. He attends MSU sporting events and goes fishing whenever he is able.

Patrick’s role as Account Manager is to get to know and understand producers and production companies in the upper Midwest and help optimize, implement, and identify solutions into their business. In Patrick’s opinion, one of the best aspects of the job is that he rarely finds two situations that are ever completely alike. As an Account Manager, regardless of serving a Swine or Poultry customers, Mike believes he serves as the liaison between a strong company that’s dedicated to our customers and the industry and the producers who are striving to become more effective and more efficient in how they utilize their nutrition and production resources.
Patrick’s key outside interests are spending time in God’s great outdoor playground watching a day come alive, be it hunting whitetails, elk, anything that may be in season, or by dropping a line in the water. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole and their three sons, chasing around to various activities, and watching them grow up to be who they want to be.
