Emma Stephenson

Calf and Heifer Technical Support Specialist

About Emma

Emma provides technical support to account managers and customers on anything related to dairy calf and heifer nutrition and management. In graduate school she studied the concept of developmental programming. This is the idea that the environment the fetus and young calf are exposed to have long-term effects on the calf. As a result, she works to keep calves healthy and comfortable to make sure they are the best possible cow they could be when they join the lactating herd.

Emma lives in the upper Midwest, where she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, and playing tennis when weather permits. For the other 6-7 months of the year, she enjoys going to thrift stores, embroidery, and catching up on her reading list. Year round she can be found hanging out with her cat, Tater Tot.
